She worked around our hectic schedule with my son and daughter in law being deployed and having many weeks of training and very little time at home before departure. On the day of the shooting we spent time in the Japanese Gardens in Georgetown and were able to get wonderful pictures. Her expertise in placement gave us some interesting shots! She also offered her services to capture the departure of our two soldiers but that was something that could not be arranged, but I appreciated her willingness to do that for us. "Jenn did "GREAT"!!!! Before Jenn, we had the kids' pictures done at a department store (mostly Sears) and every time we had to wait because they were behind (it's hard to keep two little kids occupied for an additional 30 - 45 minutes.). On my daughter's 2 year old pictures, she had a complete meltdown in the studio at Sears and that was the last time we had pictures done until Jenn. We had our Christmas pictures done at our house...the kids loved it. They were comfortable being in their own surroundings and doing their own poses. "I have a lively 5 year old and a precocious almost 2 year old. Needless to say, PBJD had a daunting task to take their picture. Despite that, Jennifer was masterful at getting the perfect shot of them. She works with the subject(s) and obviously knows how to take a great picture. However, there is an element to her work that I have not mentioned, she adds a personal touch of artistry. The pictures were great, lots of poses and lots of variation. But I got more than just a bunch of prints to store in a dusty album somewhere, PBJD made positively beautiful compositions. "Jenn provided an invaluable service, another way to enjoy the day. My son's Senior Prom...I wanted it to be perfect for him, his date, and the entire group. And I wanted to be able to enjoy the "pre-prom" festivities without spending all my time taking photos. Jenn was there for us. She met with us a few days before to look over the site and get the best vantage point for taking pictures. The prom group of 18 excited high-schoolers were on a tight schedule. We had a designated amount of time for pictures before the limo arrived to take the kids to dinner. Jenn worked with each couple individually, and did lots of group shots (candid and posed). The session was not only a ton of fun because I felt like my best friend was taking my pictures instead of just a photographer, but she made our time together exciting and interesting. We ventured out to a location Jenn had never been before in Frankfort. From that one location, she found about 10 different spots where I could pose. The ones I wasn’t sure would be that great ended up being the best ones! The pictures she took all turned out wonderful. Jenn offered me large variety of poses and types of pictures to select from. How many places are going to give you more than a handful to pick from? I had almost 200! The pictures were not just plain old yearbook pictures either.
